Real Estate Investment
It is not enough to do a great deal it is how your came to it. This is the category for buyers or sellers who took a risk, looked at markets others passed over, or exhibited creativity and integrity in their investment choices. There is a lot of money going after real estate in Asia but not everyone knows how to spend it or access it with pizzazz. This category is open to anyone involved in real estate investment buyer, seller, agent, lawyer or financier.
Real Estate Transactions
It all starts with the decision to buy, lease or build but unless you are sitting on a vacant lot some deal has to be struck. This award is not for those who leased at the lowest rent or took the most space, instead it is for the individual who made the smartest choice and negotiated the best win-win arrangement.
Real Estate Strategy
Whether you are a bank, business park or a burger joint determining real estate needs over time and a broad geographical area is like solving the Rubix Cube. Haphazard decision-making abounds in Asia's fast growing markets but some companies are making smarter choices, using their real estate to further business goals and set new standards in the industry.

Environmental Performance
'Green' is the buzz word of our times, but are the people really making a difference getting acknowledged for it? Here they can be. Whether it is energy saving, waste disposal or an overall green strategy we are looking for commitment, results and someone who is willing to be the example for others to emulate.
Exceptional Facilities Managers
Your job title might not even be 'Facility Manager' but you know what you do to keep those buildings running. Often forgotten, or only ever called when something goes wrong, now is your time to shine. Whether you are managing a shopping centre in Chengdu or the Taj Mahal we want to hear from the people who have done their industry proud.
Corporate Facility Leaders
Here at RFP we come across people who know that it is not just about the bottom line all the time. Problem is that their companies often don't recognise their amazing contributions to the running of the business. We are going to do that for them because this is the category for people managing stores, offices or other commercial facilities who have found a way to add top-line value to the business, the brand or the community through creatively managing its facilities.

Project Manager of the Year
On time, on budget and to the requisite quality - those are the basics that are hard to meet on any project. Imagine then the person who goes one better, and deliver despite the obstacles. This is the award for all those people who make the rest of us stand back in awe. Whether working on projects big or small, they solve the problems, juggle the budgets and only compromise when it’s the right thing to do.
Proudly Sponsored by Goldcrest Consultants.
Landmark Project Achievement
Being in the public eye can make managing and designing a project that much harder - be it a new corporate campus, a flagship store or the Olympic village. Dealing with controversy, public comment or a CEO who sees this as their baby requires a brave individual that on top of everything else is a great communicator and an uncompromising leader. This award is open to project managers, construction managers, architects/designers and engineers.
Transformation Project Leader
People don't like change and when it is your job to lead them through it the process can be tough. This award is for project managers and designers who have brought a space and its occupants to the other side of a transformation. In an office this might be moving from cubicles downtown to free seating in a decentralised location, in a hotel it might be a complete redesign and upgrade or it might be more drastic, such as the conversion of a prison to a shopping/entertainment complex...not just open to project and design managers. Human resources and brand managers are more then welcome to nominate.
