Nominations are already flooding in for the 2011 Ourstanding Individuals in Industry Awards – Nominations close March 2011 and the Gala Dinner will be held in June. Check out the rules first though. We have rearranged the categories in 2011 so that now there are not only awards in the areas of real estate, facilities and projects but also three open categories that can be entered by everyone from investors to product suppliers to designers to contractors. • Anyone may nominate anyone, including themselves.
• The activity for which the nominee has been nominated must pertain to a property or facility in Asia .
• Judges may choose more than one individual per category to be the recipient of an award.
• Nominees are not obliged to attend the awards ceremony to pick up their award in person.
• Sponsorship of an award category will not affect who wins that award in any way.
• The goal of the awards is to reward people who deserve it, not to create a competition. We will not 'rank' nominees or winners.
• The judges' decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into.
• These awards are for activities carried out in the year 2011, the outstanding activities must have taken place in or come to fruition in 2011.
• The awards are for individuals, not companies.
• Sponsors may not be part of the judging, short-listing decision-making nor be privy to any materials submitted by any of the nominees.
