Time to give the people who get out there some recognition. People who make it into the press and who lobby governments for change and recognition deserved to be acknowledged themselves. If you're making noise, in our opinion you are opening dialogue and bringing the general public into our importance. No matter how you are connected to the buildings and real estate industries this if you're making an effort you're making a difference.

• Business Development

If you are within the industry and grew, started or changed your business you deserve this award. If you are working for or within another organisation how did you change the way that business operates? By increasing productivity? Reducing operating costs? It's about money but lets face it, money is important. Without innovative business growth it is hard to see our value.

• Environmental Performance

‘Green’ is the buzz word of our times, but are the people really making a difference getting acknowledged for it? Here they can be. Whether it is energy saving, waste disposal or an overall green strategy we are looking for commitment, results and someone who is willing to be the example for others to emulate.

• Corporate Real Estate Young Leaders (Supported by CoreNet Global Hong Kong Chapter)

This award recognizes the young stars of our industry that have great potential to make a difference. We are looking for high caliber individuals with the enthusiasm, passion and vision to make a difference in the Corporate Real Estate sector – some “new blood”. This new category, organized in conjunction with the Hong Kong Chapter of CoreNet, is aimed at anyone aged 35 and under, who is currently serving the CRE industry and who has stood out for bringing something new to their organization or clients; whether it’s new ideas, a new process or just passion and sheer energy which has made people stand up and notice.

The winner of this award will also entitle to the CoreNet Global Hong Kong Chapter Young Leader Membership for 1 year and a free admission to the CoreNet Summit Hong Kong in March 2011. Please note the deadline for application is 31st January 2011.
