Projects, Architecture & Design Awards
- PM of the Year
On time, on budget and to the requisite quality – those are the basics that are hard to meet on any project. Imagine then the person who goes one better, and deliver despite the obstacles. This is the award for all those people who make the rest of us stand back in awe. Whether working on projects big or small, they solve the problems, juggle the budgets and only compromise when it’s the right thing to do.
- Landmark Project Achievement
Being in the public eye can make managing and designing a project that much harder – be it a new corporate campus, a flagship store or the Olympic village. Dealing with controversy, public comment or a CEO who sees this as their baby requires a brave individual that on top of everything else is a great communicator and an uncompromising leader. This award is open to project managers, construction managers, architects/designers and engineers who have worked on iconic buildings or projects.
- Transformational Project Leader
People don’t like change and when it is your job to lead them through it the process can be tough. This award is for project managers and designers who have brought a space and its occupants to the other side of a transformation. In an office this might be moving from cubicles downtown to free seating in a decentralised location, in a hotel it might be a complete redesign and upgrade or it might be more drastic, such as the conversion of a prison to a shopping/entertainment complex This award is not just open to project and design managers. Human resources and brand managers are more then welcome to nominate.
- Architect and Designer of the Year
Design of buildings nowadays is getting more and more unique and technical. If it was uniquely designed and you were the person who made it happen we want to congratulate you. From the new façade that glitters as it draws in the punters through to the systems integration of an airport – this is an award for some one who sweated over a problem and came up with a solution that was beautiful, ingenious or both.
