Lead Mechanical Engineer (Corporate Office Fit Out) – interior construction company 

A new and rapidly expanding interior construction company requires a Lead Mechanical Engineer to work on corporate office fit out and trading floors projects.  The successful candidate will report to the Director of Engineering. 

Responsibilities: 

- Overseeing the mechanical elements of projects from conceptual design and monitoring the installation, right through to the final commissioning stages.

- Maintaining the company’s high standards ensuring zero defects. 

Essential skills/experience: 

-  To be suitable for this role the applicant should have significant engineering experience gained in corporate office fit out and trading floors projects.

-  It is critical that the person has a high attention to detail and is able to ensure processes are completed thoroughly and accurately.

-  This person should also possess first class communication, presentation and negotiation skills. 

Preferred skills/experience: 

- The successful candidate should have a high level of technical expertise with at least 15 years engineering experience.

- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook;

-  Microsoft Project & AutoCAD (a plus);

-  Degree / Diploma demonstrating appropriate proficiency 

Language requirement: 

-  English, Cantonese (Spoken, Reading & Writing) essential. Mandarin a plus.
