Asset Management Engineer
A project management consultant is looking for someone to:
- Focus on asset management service delivery, responsible for such things as condition monitoring, diagnostics and strategic spares planning, for facility management business in Asia Pacific
- Manage physical assets (their selection, maintenance, inspection and renewal) which play a key role in determining the operational performance and profitability of industries that operate assets as part of their core business.
- Make the right decisions and optimizing these processes.
- Meeting and liaising with internal customer groups to understand their requirements, problems and issues and translating these into well-defined asset management strategies for implementation
- Providing engineering support in the form of asset management advice to related departments such as risk analysis, emergency response planning, and diagnostic systems knowledge management to ensure its accessibility to the business
- Act with data acquired to achieve lifetime maintenance processes for facilities and systems
- Work with implementation IT team to develop full data structures for facility management systems
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- At least 5 years' experience in building services engineering, commissioning, operation or maintenance role together with 3 years’ direct experience in implementing strategies for CMMS, EAMS or CAFM systems
- Proficient in PC Skills, computer literate and document management
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
- Strong inter-personal skills, problem solving and leadership skills
- Ability to promote asset life-cycle management
