Our Greater China team is looking for a

VP - Greater China Corporate Services Manager


The Position

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the delivery of real estate, general services and facilities and construction in Greater China (Hong Kong, China and Taiwan). Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Head of Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES) for Greater China, the role will cover the following:
Assist the Head of CRES for Greater China in the management of the Bank’s real estate portfolio (8 properties across 5 locations)
  Liaise and work very closely with the heads of the specialist functions and their local managers to co-ordinate services in Greater China

  Manage the Exchange Square and International Commerce Centre premises and the Disaster Recovery site in Hong Kong to ensure that the mechanical and electrical
infrastructure are properly maintained and functioning

  Work closely with department heads, COOs and managers from all divisions including the shared services departments on their space planning, interior fit-out works and any expansion needs
  Manage the team of Financial Managers and Facilities Managers and their direct reports
  Monthly sign-off of all Greater China’s CRES-related balance sheet reconciliation and approval of floor statistics upload of the premises in Greater China
  Prepare and monitor centrally planned budgets and other CRES direct expenditures for Greater China
  Assist in managing CRES’ staffing requirements
  Oversee all security-related issues associated with Credit Suisse premises
  Respond to any activation of mechanical and electrical alarms or building-related emergencies
  Act as the Chief Fire Marshal for the Hong Kong premises and co-ordinate the building’s annual fire drills
  Oversee all corporate charge cards and corporate calling cards related administrative issues
  Involvement in various specific projects and co-ordination across administrative functions as necessary
 

Our Greater China team is looking for an

AVP – Beijing Corporate Services Manager

The Position

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the delivery of real estate, general services and facilities and construction in China. Based in Beijing and reporting to the Head of Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES) for Greater China, the role will cover the following:

On-site supervision of daily CRES functions and services covering two offices in Beijing for the Private Banking and Investment Banking division

  Assist CRES Greater China team in co-ordinating, planning and executing new fit-out works, reconfiguration, moves and changes in existing and new offices in Beijing, as well as for other China offices when required



Carry out all necessary maintenance, upgrade works and testing programs to ensure that the data centres and trading positions are maintained properly, and are operating and functioning without any disruptions to the business

  Liaise with the Regional Critical Engineering Systems team and contractors on implementation, testing programs and upgrade projects for mechanical and electrical related matters
  Responsibility for premises-related maintenance process and programs, including IT Suites, satellite equipment rooms, plumbing and draining
  Manage and oversee the landlord's annual building shutdown to carry out maintenance work as needed
  Liaise with the Building Management to oversee matters concerning the building's routine and infrastructure maintenance programs, fire and safety related to building codes, cleaning services and building security

  Fill the role of the China office's Security Coordinator including the monitoring and enforcement of the Access Control Policy and work closely with the Singapore Security Control Centre on the security system
  Work with the Regional Life Safety team on health and safety issues and compliance issues
  Act as the Chief Fire Marshal to organize fire drills and ensure compliance with the Bank's policy and government regulations
  Act as the primary contact for all emergency alarms triggered by the IT Suites, the Access Control System and local security system
  Other administrative tasks whenever required


Requirements


We are looking for candidates who are educated to degree level and have previous work experience within this field as well as strong analytical capabilities and communication, leadership and organizational skills. Candidates need to have a flair for accuracy and attention to detail.
