Professional real estate association, CoreNet Global, today welcomed the appointment of Nigel Harris as its Regional Chair for Asia, with immediate effect.
Harris, who is the Senior Real Estate Advisor for Chevron based in Singapore, succeeds Cisco's Senior Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, Mike Zamora, who has served as the association's Asia Regional Chair for the past two years.
Previously the Chair of the association's Singapore Chapter, Harris will be responsible for spearheading CoreNet Global's activities across Asia, including leading its eight-member regional council for 2008. "This is an important and exciting time to be chairing the regional council of an organization that is having such a major impact on the development and growth of the corporate real estate sector across Asia," he said.
For 2008,CoreNet Global's regional council representatives for Asia will include:

· Chair, Philippines Chapter: Jojo Llorens, Director Assett Management, Convergys Philippines Services Corporation
· Chair, India Chapter: Rajnikant Agrawal, General Manager, Property Development, Hindustan Lever

In addition, Randy White, Senior Director Asia Pacific, DTZ, has been appointed as an Associate Director to the organization's global board.
