Vitra, the high-end office furniture brand, has announced a new strategic partnership with BW, the furniture arm of the JEB Group. Coming into effect on 1 January 2008, Vitra will become the principle product line in the BW portfolio.

Vitra has been a player in the HK market for over 20 years, while BW have established themselves as a leading contract/office furniture solution supplier since their inception in 2004. It is hoped that the new team will synergise

"Vitra's excellent product attributes, combined with BW's emphasis on local service, attention to detail and efficient local delivery will serve to enhance the sales of Vitra in HK," explained Richard Killip, Regional Director, Vitra.

Vitra has recently established a wholly owned and operated facility in Zhuhai, China to serve Asian clients. This factory uses the same European suppliers to produce their Meda Be range as well as the Meda Pal chair, which has a net weave back, at the same facility. A new 'Vitra Inspiration Centre' located at BW's existing premises is due for soft launch by the end of January 2008. RFP
